Through his theme, Tovignon J. Hanou highlights the ancestral wisdom that draws from the inexhaustible source of the Fâ (oracle). The Fâ (oracle) is a geomancy, a divinatory technique of the African peoples, which also and perhaps above all offers a way of knowing oneself, and the things around oneself. The Fâ even tells you how to act. It is an open book on the past, the present and the future, teaching us human beings our bonds with nature. Through tales, legends, proverbs, and songs the Fâ conveys majestic and profound existential wisdom.

During the 2nd ”Gamesu” International Artist Residency in Agoué (RIAG-AGOUE), 22 artists of various nationalities produced works of art expressing the need to join new threads in the chain of the old ones to promote African culture. Villa Karo hosts the collective exhibition of these works of art over a period of two months.

Petit Muséen kokoelmanäyttely uusittiin Matti-Juhani Karilan deponoimalla kokoelmansa Villa Karolle. Kokoelma koostuu yli sadasta Mami Wata -veistoksesta, jotka esitellään pikkumuseon kahdessa näyttelysalissa.

Näyttelytiimiin kuuluivat Matti-Juhani Karila, Jouko Koskinen, Kaija Kaitavuori, Katariina Timonen, Helinä Parviainen, Linnea Olamo ja Julia Autio

Musée Karon näyttelyssä Le Salon de Coiffure Artistique – yhteisöllinen kampaamo nähtiin hiuksiin liittyneessä yhteisötaideprojektissa mukana olleille malleille toteutetuista kampauksista otettuja muotokuvia. Näyttelyn valokuvaajina olivat kaksi suomalaista taidekasvattajaa, Elina Gyldén (TaM) ja Tuuli Kangas (TaM).
