INFORMATION BEFORE TRAVELLING: Was there too much information, too little, or just enough? Which things stayed unclear regarding travelling and the residency?
RESIDENCY: How was your residency: the room, wifi, breakfast and other meals, transportation, living with others in the residency, cleanliness etc.
WORKING: Did you work according to your plans? If not, was the reason a personal change in plans, or was it due to some circumstances there?
THE ROLE OF THE STAFF AND HELP: How did you feel about the role of the staff and the help you received? Staff in Finland, Benin and the intern, etc.
GENERAL SAFETY: Did you feel safe during the residency: transportation, covid-testing, the residency room and mosquito net etc, translation.
IMPROVEMENTS: What small or little changes would you suggest to Villa Karo, for an even better functioning residency?
HIGHLIGHTS: Which things exceeded your expectations and what remained as a highlight for your time in the residency?
PLANS GOING FORWARD: Were any collaboration projects born during your time in the residency with either locals or others in residency? What kinds of projects?
THE STRATEGY OF VILLA KARO: We would like to hear your wider views on the purpose of our activities. The field of art, culture and research is constantly evolving in both Finland and Benin. How do you see Villa Karo developing its operations in order to even better fulfil its mission in the future? Do we need to reassess our role - and if so, how? What kind of links do you see between Villa Karo and your own work in the future?
